Shenfield High School is a pathfinder school for the school remodelling agenda, performing much outreach work in assisting schools to re-organise in the light of 24 tasks, and restructure in the light of the new TLR.  We have also done some interesting work with support staff training as the staffing landscape in the school has changed.  We offer regular training for cover supervisors in the area, already this year having delivered two successful training sessions to over 300 cover supervisors in Essex. 

Our main focus has also been in tailor-made training. Support staff in new roles, including administration support and curriculum areas, is trained in the use of digital software and the creation of on-line learning resources.  Non-teaching pastoral staff have participated in a programme of counselling skills, assertiveness training and behaviour management.
