Initial Teacher Training

Mid Essex Training Schools provides a comprehensive Initial Teacher Training Programme with induction, mentoring and assessment for QTS through the GTP and SCITT programmes. We offer shared placements in a consortium of nine schools, all with considerable experience of Initial Teacher Training over the last eight years. We offer a variety of taster routes into finding out about Initial Teacher Training via the open schools programme, taster evenings and recruitment and selection procedures.
